Sedona Health and Nutrition Conference

Just A Few Words . . .

About Sedona Health and Nutrition Conference

We at Healthy World Sedona are not planning future live conferences at this time, but we do offer an ongoing virtual educational group model, led by trained coaches, at HWVitality.com. If you have patients who may benefit from the knowledge and support offered at this site, please refer them to it.

Plant-based nutrition is changing the landscape of medical practice in the U.S. Beginning in 2017, this unique conference was presented in four consecutive years and was the first in Northern Arizona to present the latest information on the science and practice of “food as medicine”—medicine that goes beyond managing chronic conditions to promote true healing. Attendees learned the latest information on plant-based nutrition, the effects of diet on chronic disease prevention and control, and how to design an optimum plant-based diet for patients and clients in a clinical setting.

Interest in plant-based diets is rapidly growing. Practitioners are now successfully using this interest and information in a clinical setting to change the lives of their patients.

This conference, designed for healthcare professionals, offered AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for many medical professionals, and CPEUs from the Commission on Dietetic Registration for registered dietitians. Others with interest in nutrition were also welcomed.

A Few Words About Your Host . . .

Healthy World Sedona

Healthy World Sedona (HWS) was founded as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit by Don Fries and Bev Bow in 2016 for the purpose of educating and inspiring the public to adopt a whole food, plant-based lifestyle for personal health, to eliminate unnecessary suffering and death of animals raised for food, and to reduce global warming and other environmental effects caused by animal agriculture. HWS serves primarily Sedona and the Verde Valley in northern Arizona, but attracted attendees to Sedona Health and Nutrition Conference from across the U.S. and internationally as far as South Korea. To learn more about the mission and many activities of HWS, please visit healthyworldsedona.com. And if you approve of our mission and are able to help support it, donations are very much appreciated and always go entirely toward the HWS programs.
